Come hometo calm.

Judgment-free, hands-on organizing by Samantha Marconi. It starts with a free hour in your home.

See the work
A sunlit dining room: a dark oak table with three pale wishbone chairs, a white stoneware vase of olive branches, and one framed landscape on a warm white wall

Samantha MarconiFounder. She does the work herself.

It starts with an hour, on the house.

Samantha comes to you for a free, one-hour vision meeting. She walks your space, listens to how you actually live, and tells you exactly how many sessions it would take. Then you decide.

  • Free, always. No fee, no card on file, no follow-up you didn’t ask for.
  • In your home, or on video. She travels between four cities. Virtual works from anywhere.
  • Don’t tidy up first. She needs to see the real thing. She’s seen it all, and she never judges.

My home was in complete disarray when she arrived for the vision meeting. I did not feel compelled to straighten up. I wanted her to see the real me, and she was wonderful and nonjudgmental.

Sylvia, Evanston

What calm looks like.

Not showroom-perfect. Livable, findable, and still unmistakably yours.

Built-in white shelving in a living room, sparsely arranged with a few stacked books, linen boxes and a trailing plant, an armchair in the foreground
Everything on the shelf earns its place.
Looking down into an open kitchen drawer: matte black cutlery and three wooden spoons, each in its own bamboo compartment
The drawer that opens without a fight.
Four leather handbags in tan, taupe, black and cream, evenly spaced on a white wardrobe shelf above a row of hangers
A collection, finally on display.
A kitchen corner with four black utensils hung from an oak rail over white tile, a cutting board leaning against the wall, and a clear stone counter
Tools right where your hands expect them.

Five steps, and it stays done.

Samantha works the S.P.A.C.E. method, adapted to the way you actually live, so the systems hold long after she leaves.

  1. Sort

The full picture first. Room by room, everything is grouped into categories, so every decision is made on what’s actually there.

  2. Part

The edit. Patient and pressure-free, one item at a time, until only what serves you stays. Nothing leaves without your say.

  3. Assign

Every category earns a permanent place, decided together and based on how often you reach for it.

  4. Contain

Then the products, chosen to fit the spaces you have, so everything stores easily and comes out even easier.

  5. Evaluate

You live in it for two weeks. Then Samantha adjusts whatever isn’t working, because the system has to fit your life.

Based on Julie Morgenstern’s S.P.A.C.E. method. Projects are booked as packages of three or more sessions; the vision meeting tells you how many.

Samantha Marconi, founder of Grey Space Organizing

It’s Samantha. Every time.

Not a franchise, not a rotating crew. The person you meet at the vision meeting is the person who shows up to do the work.

Nineteen years as a nanny for twenty-five kids taught me how families really live, and how homes quietly work against them. In 2019 I started Grey Space in Chicago, then brought it home to Los Angeles. I show up, I listen, and I don’t judge. I’ve seen it all.

The name is for my grandmother, Grace, whose immaculate home taught me that everything can have a place to return to. Say it out loud and you’ll hear her.

With every box, behind every door, there is a story.

What my very first client told me. I’d love to hear yours.

“A home designed to rise up to meet you when you enter.”Sylvia Corcoran, on what changed

“Not only did she immediately see the possibilities for simplifying my space, she also immediately soothed my anxiety around what I perceived as an enormous task. Samantha transformed my challenging rooms into spaces of calm and clarity. Best investment I ever made.”

Megan CumminsRogers Park, Chicago

“My family and I now spend more time together in the living room because it’s designed to welcome us all comfortably, whereas before there was no room to sit anywhere. She is warm and kind, patient and enthusiastic. If you are contemplating her services, make the commitment. It’ll be one you won’t regret.”

Sylvia CorcoranEvanston, Illinois

“A lifetime of memorabilia, four generations of photos, and hundreds of dolls, miniatures and toys. There were moments I felt overwhelmed. Slowly but surely we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. My goal of peace of mind and heart in an uncrowded, colorful space became a reality.”
